The transaction, completed under the lender's Blackwattle RMBS program, attracted support from 23 investors across Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan.
It takes total issuance under the Blackwattle program to more than $3.5 billion since its launch in 2021, supporting the continued growth of Loanworks' mortgage portfolio, which is approaching $3 billion.
Loanworks has operated as a non-bank lender since 2004 and has more than 30 years' experience in the lending industry. The lender funds residential loans through brokers, mortgage managers and white-label partners, offering owner-occupier and investment lending across full-doc, alt-doc and SMSF products.
The lender offers residential loan products for owner-occupiers and investors, including loans for property purchases, renovations, refinancing, debt consolidation and equity release.
Loanworks also provides white-label funding for mortgage managers, allowing them to offer loan products under their own brand while the lender manages the funding, settlement and wholesale support behind the scenes.
Chief executive Satish Chand said the latest transaction reflected continued momentum across the business.
"Our underlying mortgage portfolio has continued to grow with the excellent support of our introducers and staff," Chand said.
"Consistency in our origination volumes enables a regular cadence of Blackwattle transactions, which helps build investor knowledge and confidence in our program."
According to Chand, the transaction will improve the lender's funding costs, enabling it to continue offering more competitive loan products through its network of introducers.
"The primary benefit is that Blackwattle transactions provide access to improved funding costs, which enables us to continue offering more competitive loans through our network of introducers," he said.
The $850 million transaction is the seventh completed under the Blackwattle program and represents the lender's largest securitisation since launching the funding program in 2021.
