The newly created role will see Marc Cassidy lead ORDE’s state and regional distribution teams, working closely with state sales managers, business development managers, and relationship managers nationally, alongside the broader One Lending Team.
Cassidy joins the lender with more than 20 years’ experience across banking and financial services, including senior leadership positions spanning mortgages, wealth, adviser engagement, and credit. His career has included roles at National Australia Bank and MLC, where he worked across national lending and distribution teams.
Over the past 12 months, ORDE said its distribution team has doubled in size as it builds out on-the-ground support for brokers.
The appointment comes as ORDE continues to scale its distribution operations. Since launch, the lender has supported more than $10 billion in settled loans for over 16,000 borrowers and expanded its distribution footprint to six major aggregator panels with access to more than 18,000 brokers nationwide.
ORDE said the creation of the national distribution manager position was designed to ensure its broker-first distribution approach remains consistent as the business grows.
ORDE’s director of distribution, Lee Prior, said the appointment reflected the lender’s focus on strengthening leadership across its distribution network.
“As ORDE scales, we’ve been intentional about investing in leadership that supports what matters most to brokers – consistency, accessibility and experience,” Prior said.
“Marc brings strong distribution experience and a grounded, practical leadership style. He understands that supporting brokers well also means supporting our people – and that aligns closely with how ORDE operates.”
Cassidy said ORDE’s broker-focused approach stood out immediately.
“ORDE is very clear about who it’s built for – brokers,” Cassidy said.
“I was drawn to how closely the distribution team works with brokers and aggregator partners and stays involved on the ground. There’s strong depth across sales and credit, built on deep broker relationships, and that experience is shared to upskill our people and support brokers through real-world scenarios.”
Cassidy will be based in Melbourne and work nationally across ORDE’s distribution network.
