Former RedZed BDM steps into head of commercial at MA Money

In anticipation of the launch of its suite of commercial products, the non-bank lender has appointed an experienced business development manager (BDM) to head up the department.

Craig Stuart will join MA Money as head of commercial. Bringing nearly three decades’ worth of experience to the role, he will be expertly positioned to promote strong broker relationships.

In his new position, he will help launch a new line of commercial and SMSF products.

Stuart was recently the national commercial BDM at RedZed. He has long held senior positions across credit and sales.

Commenting on his appointment, Stuart said he aims to connect with brokers and become a trusted partner.

“Commercial lending is one of the most exciting growth areas for brokers right now, and I want to make sure MA Money is the partner they turn to for opportunity and support,” he said.

“My goal is to make it simpler for brokers and their clients, while providing the same consistency, support and personal service that MA Money is known for on the residential side.”

Stuart recently joined Broker Daily’s Finance Specialist podcast to discuss the lucrative opportunities in commercial lending.

MA Money is capitalising on these borrower trends and diversifying its product range to meet a growing demand.

Tim Lemon, national sales manager at MA Money, said this expansion is an exciting time for the non-bank lender.

“We believe this will broaden MA Money’s offering to brokers and reinforce our commitment to providing flexible solutions backed by outstanding service,” Lemon said.

“We are committed to ensuring brokers and their clients enjoy the best possible experience with our new commercial products.

“The seamless credit process and high standards brokers have come to expect from our residential range will be carried over into our commercial loans. We’re excited to bring this new offering to market, and Craig is the right person to lead this division and drive long-term growth for MA Money.”
