Pepper announces 2 broker support appointments

The non-bank lender has bolstered its leadership team with two appointments in the hopes of growing its broker support network.

Pepper Money has appointed two leaders: Nick Green as southern regional manager for Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory and Vince Gaggiano as senior BDM. Both of these positions will be Victoria-based.

Green commences his role as regional manager from 18 August, replacing Adam Croucher.

He brings over 17 years of experience in financial services, working in areas such as commercial and residential lending, aggregation, and brokerage.

According to Pepper Money, Green’s responsibility will be to build greater relationships with brokers and aggregators.

Another core responsibility will be to grow and develop commercial lending capabilities.

Pepper Money is vying for greater expansion into commercial lending. Green’s experience in this space will help propel the lender forward.

Gaggiano will also begin from 18 August. He brings over 27 years’ experience to the role of senior BDM, having worked alongside brokers for much of this time. He previously held a position at Advantedge.

Barry Saoud, Pepper Money’s general manager, mortgages and commercial lending, said these strategic appointments will help continue strong growth and positive broker support at the non-bank.

He described Green and Gaggiano as having “broker first thinking”, aligning with Pepper Money’s mission.

“Nick’s leadership experience across distribution, aggregation, and strategic partnerships makes him a fantastic fit to lead our southern region into its next chapter,” said Saoud.

“With Vince also joining as a Senior BDM, we’re bolstering our ability to provide personalised, solutions-driven support to brokers throughout the state.

“We remain focused on strengthening our presence and supporting our brokers and their clients with helpful loan options – for even the most complex scenarios. Our team of state managers, BDMs, and relationship managers play a critical role in ensuring we continue to deliver a market-leading experience for our broker partners across the country.”
