Thinktank and Fortiro announced the strategic partnership to help bolster fraud detection systems and speed up the verification process.
The collaboration aims to equip brokers with better tools to streamline the lending process and make faster lending decisions.
Speed and security are imperative for the modern broker. With the rise of digitisation in the lending industry, borrowers have come to expect a level of efficiency.
This latest partnership aims to address these issues, said Fortiro CEO Sean Quagliani.
“Lenders have invested heavily in digital technology, but many still rely on outdated, manual steps – particularly with documents. Fortiro bridges that gap, helping Thinktank deliver a faster, more secure digital experience for brokers and their clients,” explained Quagliani.
Thinktank engaged its broker partners on ways it could improve processes, with the top considerations being speed, transparency, and trust.
“At Thinktank, we work exclusively with mortgage brokers, so we’re committed to investing in technology that improves the experience for our brokers and their clients,” said Thinktank CEO Jonathan Street.
“Our broker partners have told us that speed, transparency, and trust are paramount. Partnering with Fortiro is a natural extension of our commitment to delivering better outcomes through thoughtful innovation.”
Fortiro has been engaging lenders recently to assist in securing processes. Back in May, the fintech assisted in the rollout of AMP Bank’s new digital platform.
Thinktank has been expanding its capabilities too, with the lender recently joining the CitoPlus platform.
The partnership, announced in April, completely digitised the commercial and SMSF loan submission process through the launch of an end-to-end digital application experience.
According to the non-bank lender, this has streamlined the entire life cycle of a loan application and provides brokers with “seamless access to the right information”, product and policy guidance, and functionality in areas such as solution structuring, financial analysis, and serviceability calculations.
Through its latest partnership with Fortiro, Thinktank aims to position itself as a lender that engages the broker community and “acts quickly to innovate”.
