The Broker Innovation Summit will reveal the latest trends, tools, and insights into the disruptive power of AI in broking.

With more than 75 per cent of Australian borrowers now turning to mortgage brokers – and demand expected to rise following recent RBA rate cuts – the industry is experiencing rapid growth.

To stay competitive, brokers must adopt new tools and technologies or risk falling behind.

The first-ever Broker Innovation Summit is designed to bridge this gap by providing brokers with the tools and understanding to harness the power of technological integration.

The event will bring together industry experts to discuss the rise of technology, digitisation, and AI, providing meaningful discussions to help brokers reduce administrative tasks, attract more clients, and adapt to evolving customer needs.

The Broker Innovation Summit isn’t for everyone. It’s exclusively designed for brokers looking to drive innovation in a rapidly evolving industry.

The summit features four sessions dedicated to AI, including:

3 questions at the heart of AI

AI is reshaping the ways we understand intelligence, responsibility, and progress.

In this thought-provoking session, one of our nation’s leading AI luminaries, Silvio Giorgio, will ask three fundamental questions of our relationship with AI: how did we get here? Where exactly are we? Where do we go from here?

During the session, Giorgio will chart the evolution of AI and challenge brokers to think critically about their role in preparing for the future.

Adopt and evolve today: How AI is transforming SMEs

This session is designed to arm attendees with the capabilities to understand how AI solutions can support their business.

AI is evolving at an astonishing rate and while brokers aren’t expected to be experts, they must understand the tools to effectively integrate automation or risk being left behind.

During the session, Chris Borg, founder and CEO at My Virtual Broker, will outline broker-centric AI applications that can be adopted immediately. Borg will break down the concepts of machine learning and prompt engineering to guide attendees on how to communicate with AI to transform their business.

It will also touch on the cyber security risks of AI integration and equip brokers with the tools needed to protect their business and clients.

The broker of tomorrow: Understanding the potential of agentic AI

AI agents have immense disruptive potential that extends well beyond automating workflows. Agentic AI has the capabilities to act as a broker with deep expertise, which is constantly learning and available 24/7.

This transformative new technology can work both independently from and in collaboration with humans, causing brokers to reimagine what is possible across the entire value chain.

This session will be hosted by Empathetic AI founder and CEO Angela Shi. Shi’s company was responsible for developing Australia’s first AI tax copilot, Luna, powered by advanced generative AI technology.

In her address, Shi will outline how agentic AI is transforming the way brokers operate and how to embrace agentic AI going forward.

The road ahead: Bracing for an AI-dominated future

This future-focused session will examine how AI is being used in modular systems to automate processes at key stages in the broker journey.

It will deep-dive into the future impacts of widespread AI adoption and ponder questions on where brokers stand as we race towards an autonomous future.
