The partnership between Lendi and Settle Easy will see Aussie brokers able to access this service to help reduce borrower stress.

Lendi has announced its new Aussie Conveyancing offering, in partnership with online conveyancer Settle Easy. According to a statement, this service will “radically simplify another part of the home buying journey for Australians and help ease buyer anxiety during the final stages of the home loan process.”

Speaking on the announcement, Lendi Group CEO David Hyman said the service will allow for greater transparency and efficiency in the loan journey.

“The conveyancing process has been needlessly complex for buyers for too long. The launch of Aussie Conveyancing delivers on our promise to transform the way Australians buy homes – and further diversifies our offering,” he said.

“By integrating Settle Easy’s best-in-class conveyancing services directly into our existing platform, we’re not only streamlining a critical step for homebuyers, but also enhancing the overall experience.”

Conveyancing is a crucial aspect of the home ownership spectrum. Settle Easy CEO Sam Almaliki recognised the opportunity in partnering with Lendi.

“Engaging a conveyancer is an essential part of the purchasing journey, and while it’s unfamiliar territory for most people, it doesn’t have to add to the stress,” said Almaliki.

“We’re proud to partner with Lendi Group to deliver an integrated solution that will truly benefit home buyers by streamlining one of the most important transactions of their lives.”

In conversation with Broker Daily, Lendi’s chief product officer, Travis Tyler, said that the rollout of this offer is broker-centric.

“We co-developed this product with our brokers. The key upside is the efficiency and productivity gains which mean our brokers can spend more time with their customers doing what they love. We know that brokers have historically been having about 200,000 interactions with lenders across the board through the conveyancing process – handling queries, managing the process, getting what they need from the buyer etc. Aussie Conveyancing totally changes that,” said Tyler.

Further to assisting brokers and streamlining processes, the service aims to assist borrowers and ease the stress involved with organising a loan.

“For our customers this is about reducing buyer anxiety, saving time and adding value. Despite almost all property transactions in Australia being completed by a professional conveyancer, most home buyers are, understandably, unfamiliar with the process which creates unnecessary stress,” Tyler said.

“By integrating this specialist legal service directly into Aussie’s broker platform, we’re saving buyers time at the pointy end of buying by providing quick and easy access to a reputable, national law firm specialising in conveyancing. Also, when customers choose to use Aussie Conveyancing, the fee includes three free property contract or documentation reviews – such as strata, building or pest reports – to make sure the property they’re considering is the right one for them. That’s a pretty compelling reason to give it a go, we think.”

The rollout of Aussie Conveyancing begins next week (2 December) in Victoria and Tasmania and will extend nationally in 2025.
