The tech provider said the new platform will help brokers grow and develop by leveraging relationships with like-minded professionals.

Quickli Community is the latest function to be added to its interface. The free of charge function allows mortgage brokers to connect with one another.

According to Quickli, half of all mortgage brokers use its platform. The latest offering will allow the sharing of knowledge and developing of relationships.

As of February 2025, 41 per cent of NSW mortgage brokers were sole traders. This means receiving support can be difficult.

According to Quickli co-founder and co-CEO Angus Keatinge, Quickli aims to reduce feelings of isolation for this cohort.

“We noticed brokers were naturally gathering on various external platforms to tackle complex deals and share knowledge. As we continue to work towards better supporting brokers, it made perfect sense to address this critical need within Quickli itself, where they’re already working every day,” said Keatinge.

Quickli Community will open more doors for brokers to access mentorship opportunities.

While the two-year compulsory mentorship journey can establish the foundational skills of being a broker, going above and beyond the requirement can build deeper skills.

As discussed in an earlier Broker Daily article, brokers should always stay curious and learning to develop their skill set.

“To become a broker, it’s no secret that it’s a very low barrier to entry. You’ve got a laptop, you’ve got a Cert IV, off you go. But what you realise after you do that, Cert IV is, now what? What do I do now? It doesn’t really give you the on the ground stuff,” said founder and principal broker of Stellar Finance Group, Dr Lisa Bridgett.

“Doing a formal training course facilitated by an external provider helps them in leaps and bounds to accelerate their broker knowledge.”

Keatinge said the Community platform will leverage the power of developing relationships to assist brokers in servicing clients more effectively.

“We recognise that brokers work best when they tap into collective expertise. Community lets brokers workshop deals, get industry news, stay connected to industry peers, and share success stories to help others learn from proven strategies,” Keatinge said.

“By building this directly into our platform, we’re creating a centralised hub where brokers can access both the tools and the knowledge, they need to better serve their clients.”
