NAB chief executive Andrew Thorburn has strengthened the group’s leadership team with the appointment of a new executive.

Lorraine Murphy joins NAB as group executive of people after working as the chief people officer at Air New Zealand since January 2013. With more than 20 years’ experience in HR, Ms Murphy has also held senior roles at the Campbell Soup Company (also known as Campbell’s), energy company AGL and food and beverage group Lion Nathan.

Mr Thorburn said Ms Murphy’s appointment is a very important one for NAB’s executive leadership team.
