Wide Bay appoints new director

Wide Bay Australia has announced the appointment of compliance specialist Sandra Birkensleigh as a non-executive director.

Ms Birkensleigh joins Wide Bay following 24 years at PricewatershouseCoopers, where she was a global lead for governance risk and compliance, a national lead partner for risk and a controls solutions and service team leader for performance improvement.

She is currently the non-executive director of several companies, including MLC and Plum Financial Services.

Wide Bay said Ms Birkensleigh’s experience will be an asset in continuing to strengthen its risk management and compliance framework.
