ASX-listed aggregator Australian Finance Group (AFG) has welcomed Danielle (Dani) Katz as a partnership manager for NSW, effective this week.
Katz has been AFG’s NSW support manager for two years, where she supported the state’s five partnership managers and the state manager, helping ensure operations ran smoothly.
In that role, she worked with key stakeholders at brokerages across the state, including major strategic broker groups, and has become a well-known and trusted contact within the NSW AFG network, particularly in championing technology that makes brokerage processes more efficient (such as BrokerEngine).
Before joining AFG, Katz spent several years in the fintech/proptech industry, including home deposit fintech FrontYa, where she focused on product development, distribution, and customer experience initiatives aimed at improving housing affordability for Australians.
Katz will now join AFG’s other partnership managers for NSW, which include Rob Fares, Edison Xie, Rohan Cubis, and Krishneil Prasad, who operate under Haley Bellamy (state manager NSW/ACT).
AFG noted the new partnership manager’s passion for third-party distribution and broker advocacy, having been a regular voice in industry conversations, featuring on several panel discussions across finance, fintech, and the future of work. She was also a finalist for the Young Leader of the Year at the Women in Finance Awards 2025.
The aggregator also noted her “strategic, structured, and data-led approach to broker relationships – focused on helping brokers grow their businesses, diversify their income, and build the businesses they want”.
Speaking of her new position, Katz said: “I’m thrilled to be stepping into the Partnership Manager role at AFG. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know brokers right across NSW – from sole operators to the state’s biggest broker businesses. This exposure has given me a deep appreciation for the different growth strategies, team structures, challenges, and expectations brokers have of their aggregator. I’m looking forward to bringing these insights into a portfolio of my own, as well as welcoming new brokers into the AFG network who are well-aligned and will thrive with our high-touch support.
“My focus is on being a real strategic partner to the brokers I work with – helping them identify growth opportunities, diversify their income, connect with the right tools, people, and technology, and back them to achieve their goals.
“AFG has built an incredible foundation, and I’m excited to play a bigger role in broker success in this next chapter as a partnership manager.”
