With over 340 attendees from across the mortgage, finance, and accounting professions, the prestigious event celebrated the exceptional achievements of individuals and organisations driving excellence and innovation in the commercial finance sector.
Run in partnership with principal partner, Judo Bank, the awards recognised outstanding contributions across 21 categories – spanning brokers, aggregators, accountants, and business finance specialists – culminating in the announcement of Mark Kevin from Mortgage Advice Bureau Sydney as the winner of the coveted Excellence Award for 2025 (who also took home the award for SMSF Broker of the Year earlier in the day).
Celebrating industry excellence
A total of 21 winners were selected from an impressive field of 136 finalists, representing the very best of Australia’s commercial and asset finance industry.
Among the stand-out honourees were Martin Kennedy from Quantaco Capital who was named Commercial Mortgage Broker of the Year, Jacob Green from Valiant Finance who took home the award for Cash Flow Finance Broker of the Year and Nathan Hogan from iFin Capital, who was named Asset Finance Broker of the Year.
Meanwhile, Joshua Diab took home the Rising Star of the Year award, and Connective was named Commercial Aggregator of the Year for its exceptional service and commitment to supporting brokers nationwide.
The awards program acknowledged leading professionals and businesses across 21 submission-based categories – including 12 individual and nine group awards – recognising excellence in areas such as leadership, client outcomes, business growth, and innovation.
A benchmark for achievement
The Commercial Finance Awards continue to set the benchmark for professional excellence in the industry, celebrating the trailblazers who elevate standards, drive growth, and inspire success.
Winners were assessed by an independent panel of judges against robust quantitative and qualitative criteria, evaluating performance across key areas such as business development, leadership, diversity, and contribution to the Australian commercial finance landscape.
